Conductivity probe SK-50 type

Application

Conductivity probes SK-50 is used in automation and signalling systems as contact gauge of liquid level which conductive the current. It is used when installing of probe with thread is impossible. This kind of probe doesn’t have fixing element.

Construction

The SK-50 is electrode which is connected with probe wire.
Wire has two functions:
- joining internal probe electrode with input circuit of signalling system
- is hanging for probe elements during her hanging down.

It is used to creating electric signalling circuit.

Hanging down or fixing above water surface of the SK-50 caused that when liquid is in contact with ending of internal electrode, the signalling circuit (consist of this electrode, liquid, second probe or metal partition of container and signalling system) is closing.

Probe is built of body which is made of isolative material. Inside of body is internal electrode which is joined with probe wire with the aid of connector with screw.
