Bioreactor to composting with measuring system

Construction

• isolated reactor, capacity of reactor: 45l or less,
• system of temperature sensors,
• gas analyser ( CO₂, O₂ ),
• regulator of flow rate,
• drying column,
• meter of air flow.

Principle of operation

Upper part of reactor contains cover which allows on sampling of material. Air is forced from lower part of reactor. Flow of air is regulated with the aid of flow rate regulator. In lower part of reactor there is double perforated plate which allows on air flow via material bed. Air goes to container with solution of sulfuric acid. Air can be carried away outside or can be directed to drying column. Dried air goes to electronic gas analyser which allows on measurement of O₂ and CO₂.
